Scarlet Nantes Carrot is a dependable, widely adapted variety that has been selected for North American growing conditions for more than 50 years. It produces smooth, flavourful roots with strong tops and classic heirloom carrot flavour.

The roots grow to approximately 18 cm (7") long and develop their colour early, making them suitable for harvesting young as baby carrots. When allowed to fully mature, Scarlet Nantes also stores exceptionally well and freezes nicely for winter use.

Its tender, juicy flesh also makes it an excellent choice for juicing, while its reliable performance makes it a favourite for home gardens.
