Organic German Chamomile is a charming, easy-to-grow herb that produces petite, daisy-like flowers on low-growing plants. It prefers cooler weather, making early spring and late summer ideal times for sowing.

For the best quality, harvest the flowers just before they fully open. The blooms can be used fresh or dried to make soothing herbal teas, and the edible petals can also be sprinkled over salads.

German Chamomile is highly attractive to bees, hoverflies, and other beneficial insects. It may self-sow from year to year, but is generally easy to control and does not spread aggressively. Once established, the plants are also quite drought tolerant.
