Cornflower - Centaurea Blue Boy (Seeds)

Blue Boy Cornflower, also known as Bachelor's Buttons, is a classic annual with vivid blue, pompom-like flowers carried on fuzzy grey stems. Its charming blooms add bright colour to garden beds, herb gardens, and cutting gardens while also attracting beneficial hoverflies.

Plants grow to approximately 90 cm (36") tall and produce plenty of stems for fresh bouquets. The flowers also dry exceptionally well and are edible, with fresh petals suitable for adding colour to salads, teas, and decorative drinks.

For an extended bloom period, direct sow at repeated intervals from April to June. Once established, Blue Boy is drought tolerant and well suited to xeriscaping.
