Marigold - Brocade (Seeds)

Brocade Marigold is a colourful, easy-to-grow annual that produces brilliant 5 cm (2") flowers in rich shades of gold, orange, and mahogany. The compact to medium-sized plants grow approximately 30–38 cm (12–15") tall, making them a great choice for garden beds, borders, and larger containers.

Plants bloom from May right through to a heavy frost when regularly deadheaded. Once established, they are drought tolerant and well suited to sunny, low-maintenance gardens.

The flower petals are also edible and can be dried and ground for use as a colourful seasoning. Brocade is a cultivar of Tagetes patula and is especially easy to grow from seed.
