Calibra Yellow Onion is a sweet Spanish-type storage onion prized for its mild flavour and firm, round bulbs. The pale copper skins surround a crisp interior, and the flavour becomes even sweeter during storage.

Bulbs typically reach approximately 7.5–10 cm (3–4") in diameter and have a slight shoulder. While a little smaller than some Spanish onion varieties, Calibra makes up for it with excellent sweetness and flavour. It is especially well suited for caramelizing, roasting, and making rich French onion soup.

After harvest, allow the entire plant to dry thoroughly until there is no remaining moisture in the neck or stem. Once cured, trim the roots and cut the neck to about 2 cm (1") before storing in a cool, dark location.
