Mortgage Lifter Organic Tomato is a classic heirloom beefsteak dating back to 1930s Kentucky. It is prized for its rich, old-fashioned tomato flavour, large fruits, and attractive pinkish skin.

The hefty tomatoes typically weigh 1–2 lbs each and contain relatively few seeds. Fruits are generally resistant to cracking and are excellent for slicing, sandwiches, burgers, and fresh eating. Mortgage Lifter matures a little later in the season, but its outstanding flavour makes it well worth the wait.

Plants are vigorous, indeterminate vines that can grow over 90 cm (3') tall, so sturdy support is recommended.
