Carrot - Tendersweet (Seeds)

Description

Heirloom Vegetable. Variety originated in Germany. You will be asking who put sugar on the carrots when you try Tendersweet! Deep orange–red roots up to 25 cm (10”) long are almost coreless, smooth skinned and simply the sweetest tasting carrots going. Matures in 75 days.

How to Grow

Sow seed in a sunny site with well prepared light soil after the soil temperature rises above 7.5°C (45°F). Germination can take from 10-20 days.

Planting Depth: 6 mm (1/4”). Seed Spacing: 6 mm (1/4”). Thin to: 5 cm (2”). Row Width: 50 cm (20”)

COMMENTS: Keep seedbed evenly moist and avoid crusting over soil during the germination period. Avoid high nitrogen fertilizer.
