Planting Instructions:
- Grow potatoes in a full sun area in well-drained, sandy soil.
- Avoid planting potatoes in the same spot every year.
- 3-4 weeks before planting, place potatoes in a bright frost free area to sprout.
- Plant sprouted potatoes in rows 6” deep and 12” apart. Rows should be 24” apart.
- In mid-July hill the potatoes to protect he growing tubers from greening.
- Harvest potatoes when the tubers have reached a usable size or the tops have died down.
- Mature potatoes should be left in the ground 1-2 weeks allowing the skins to properly set which will increase their storage ability.
