UC157 F2 Asparagus is a productive variety known for its early harvests and heavy yields, especially in milder growing climates. Mature crowns typically produce three to five attractive dark green spears with light bracts.

The spears measure approximately 1.5–2 cm (1/2–3/4") in diameter and offer excellent quality for fresh garden harvests. UC157 F2 also has moderate tolerance to Fusarium root rot.

Growing asparagus from seed requires patience, but once established, plants can provide dependable harvests for many years.
