Guelph Millennium Asparagus is a premium all-male hybrid variety bred at the University of Guelph for excellent performance in cold climates. It is especially valued for its strong cold tolerance, high productivity, and attractive solid green spears.

The plants develop vigorous, robust foliage and produce flavourful spears with less purple colouring than some other asparagus varieties. Once established, Guelph Millennium is a dependable long-term crop and is especially well suited to Canadian gardens and other northern growing regions.

Growing asparagus from seed requires patience, as plants take several years to become fully established, but the resulting harvest can continue for many years.
