Bean - Provider (Green Bush Bean) (Seeds)
Description
Heirloom Vegetable. Variety originated in USA. A good choice for less than ideal growing conditions. Pods are 15 cm (6”) long and quite straight. Great snap bean that is tender and succulent due to its low fibre content. Strong, upright plants with a vigorous growth habit. Matures in 52 days.
How to Grow
Direct sow every 10 days in a sunny spot from late May to mid-July once the ground has warmed to at least 18°C (65°F). Germination typically occurs in 5-12 days.
Planting Depth: 2.5 cm (1”). Seed Spacing: 7.5 cm (3”). Row Width: 60 cm (24”).
COMMENTS: Beans do best in deep, well drained organic soil. Avoid disturbing beans when foliage is wet. Bean seed will rot rapidly when planted in soil that is colder than recommended.
