Beets - Taunus F1 (Seeds)
PRODUCT DETAILS
Taunus Beet is a highly uniform cylindrical variety that is especially well suited to slicing, pickling, and making beet chips. The smooth roots develop deep purple flesh with minimal zoning and strong resistance to cracking.
Harvest the roots at full size or pick them young as tender baby “fingerling” beets. The plants grow to approximately 30 cm (12") tall, and the leafy tops are edible as well.
For an extended harvest, direct sow after the last frost and repeat plantings every two to three weeks throughout the season.
