Santo Long Standing Cilantro is an easy-to-grow variety specially bred to be slower to bolt, giving you a longer harvest window for fresh, flavourful leaves. For a continuous supply throughout the season, sow short rows every couple of weeks from spring through late summer.

The fresh leaves are widely used as cilantro, while the mature seeds are harvested as coriander and used in many dishes and spice blends. If growing for seed, simply allow the plants to flower and mature. The flowers are also highly attractive to beneficial insects such as hoverflies, lacewings, and lady beetles.

Santo performs well in cooler temperatures and can even grow productively in partial shade. With some protection, such as a cloche or greenhouse, plants may continue growing through winter.
