Cosmos - Sensation Mix (Seeds)

Sensation Mix Cosmos is a classic, reliable annual with airy foliage and cheerful single, daisy-shaped flowers in white and a range of pink shades, each with a bright yellow centre.

Plants grow tall, reaching approximately 1.2–1.8 m (4–6'), and can be pinched when about 15 cm (6") tall to encourage bushier, sturdier growth. In windy locations, staking may be helpful, while sheltered plants can often stand on their own.

For the longest bloom period, remove spent flowers regularly. Avoid overly rich soil, as too much fertility can delay flowering. Once established, Sensation Mix is also quite drought tolerant.

This long-standing favourite was recognized as an AAS Award Winner in 1936.
