Eriophyllum - Common Wooly Sunflower (Seeds)

Common Woolly Sunflower, also known as Oregon Sunshine, is an attractive native perennial with bright yellow flowers held above distinctive silvery-grey, woolly foliage. Despite its common name, it is not a true sunflower.

Plants bloom from May through August, producing cheerful flowers approximately 5 cm (2") across. Its compact, gradually spreading habit makes it well suited to borders, rock gardens, containers, and naturalized plantings.

The flowers are highly attractive to pollinators and beneficial insects, while the silvery foliage provides ornamental interest even when the plant is not in bloom.
