Rhone is a high-yielding red tango lettuce with deeply lobed leaves, vigorous growth, and excellent uniformity. Its tender leaves have a mild flavour and can be harvested as a full head or grown for repeated cut-and-come-again harvests.
Slow to bolt and reliable throughout the season, Rhone holds its mild flavour longer than many other red varieties. Grow it alongside green tango Ezpark or other Eazyleaf varieties to create an attractive blend of colours and leaf shapes for fresh salads.
