Pepper - Jalapeno M (Seeds)

Jalapeño M Pepper is a classic hot pepper variety that produces thick-walled, juicy, dark green fruits with dependable jalapeño flavour and heat. The peppers grow to approximately 8 cm (3") long and 2 cm (1") wide, with a blunt tip and firm texture.

The mid-sized plants reach approximately 60–90 cm (24–36") tall and perform well in garden beds as well as 3–5 gallon containers. Green fruits are excellent for fresh eating, pickling, salsas, and sauces, while fully ripened red peppers can be dried or smoked to make chipotle peppers.

If green peppers remain on the plants at the end of the season, the whole plant can be pulled and hung in a dry location to allow the fruits to continue ripening.
