Pepper - Carolina Reaper (Seeds)
PRODUCT DETAILS
Carolina Reaper Pepper is an extremely hot variety known for its intense heat, wrinkled appearance, and distinctive pointed “stinger.” The small fruits mature from green to bright red and develop a heavily textured, gnarled surface.
The peppers average approximately 1.5 million Scoville Heat Units and have been measured as high as about 2.2 million SHU. Because of this extreme heat, seeds and fruits should be handled with great care.
Carolina Reaper plants need a long, hot growing season and can be more challenging to grow than standard peppers. Start seeds indoors early and provide consistent warmth and humidity for germination. Seeds may take 21–28 days or longer to sprout.
