Poppies - Flanders (Seeds)

Flanders Poppy is a classic heirloom annual known for its brilliant scarlet-red flowers and natural meadow-style appearance. It grows well in a wide range of soils and is especially striking when planted in large groups or naturalized areas.

Plants reach approximately 60 cm (24") tall and are quite drought tolerant once established, making them suitable for xeriscaping and low-maintenance plantings. They also self-sow reliably without usually becoming aggressive.

After flowering, the dried seed heads can be harvested for decorative arrangements or saved for seed. Flanders Poppy is also generally avoided by deer and other grazing animals.
