Pumpkin - Small Sugar (Seeds)
PRODUCT DETAILS
Small Sugar Pumpkin is a classic heirloom variety dating back to 1863 and is one of the traditional favourites for pies, baking, and canning. Also known by names such as New England Pie Pumpkin, Sugar Pie, and Boston Pie, it has earned a long-standing reputation for excellent flavour and texture.
The small orange fruits are round to slightly flattened with shallow ribbing and fine-grained, stringless flesh. Each pumpkin averages approximately 20 cm (8") tall by 23 cm (9") wide, making them a convenient size for kitchen use.
The naturally sweet flesh is especially well suited to pies, purées, soups, baking, and preserving.
