Here is a delightful looking summer radish with 1-2" diameter cherry-red roots that have a pleasing, mild flavoured white flesh. Cherry Belle holds great potential for extending the season as it forces well under glass and maintains its superior eating quality for a long time. An ideal variety for late spring and early summer plantings. Introduced in 1949.

How to Grow

Sow early in a sunny site as soon as the ground is workable in the spring. Sow seed every two weeks 1/2" deep and about 1" apart in rows about 12" apart. Keep soil evenly moist during germination and growth. Harvest in 3-4 weeks when the roots have reached the size of a large marble.
