Black Beauty Zucchini is a classic heirloom summer squash first introduced in the 1920s. The large, semi-upright bush plants are open and productive, producing plenty of glossy, very dark green fruits with firm, creamy white flesh and excellent flavour.

Plants begin producing early and continue over a long harvest period. For the best texture and flavour, harvest fruits while they are still under approximately 20 cm (8") long.

Black Beauty is also an excellent choice for freezing and has remained a garden favourite for generations. It was recognized as an All-America Selections Winner in 1957.
