Fresca Strawberry is an everbearing variety that produces large, juicy berries with classic strawberry flavour. Despite its tiny seeds, Fresca develops into vigorous, spreading plants that flower and fruit repeatedly over a long harvest season.
For the best results, start seeds indoors during winter and transplant outside once the danger of frost has passed. To encourage fruit in the first year, start seeds very early, ideally in December or January, and grow seedlings under bright artificial light.
Fresca is a versatile choice for garden beds, raised beds, containers, and hanging baskets. First-year yields may be lighter, but established plants become increasingly productive in following seasons.
