Swiss Chard - Magenta Sunset (Seeds)

Magenta Sunset Swiss Chard is a striking variety with vivid hot pink to magenta stems and veins that contrast beautifully against dark jade-green foliage. It is especially well suited to baby leaf production, where the smooth, tender leaves add impressive colour and mild flavour to salads.

The narrow stalks remain relatively slender even as plants mature, and the leaves have a pleasant, mild earthy flavour. For the best quality, grow during cooler weather, as plants may bolt during summer heat. Sow again in August for a fresh fall harvest or allow plants to mature into attractive specimens reaching approximately 60 cm (24") tall.

Swiss chard is also highly nutritious, providing vitamins, minerals, and dietary fibre.
